I moved to Asheville in 2020 after researching it from Boston during the pandemic and falling for it on a road trip, so I know what it's like to pick a place from far away and hope it feels like home. I also run GayAsheville.com, which keeps me connected to the LGBTQ+ community here well beyond the real estate side.

I see my job as being your advisor first. I'll tell you what I'd want to know, including when a house isn't worth it or when the best move is to wait. I spent years in science before real estate (PhD from the University of Florida, postdoc at Harvard), so I like to read the fine print and explain it plainly.
