Everyone deserves equal access to housing. A directory that helps LGBTQ+ people find welcoming agents has to be careful that it never becomes a tool for steering.
Draft of October 31, 2026. Operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME].
We are an introduction directory. We are not a brokerage, lender or landlord and we do not make housing decisions. Choosing an agent who shares a background or values is a lawful personal choice for a client. Nothing on GayMoves tells anyone where they may or may not live.
Every agent agrees to follow fair housing law, to offer the same service and information to every client, not to steer toward or away from areas based on a protected class, and to use only lawful, neutral language in advertising. Violations can lead to removal. See the terms.
If you think an agent or a page on GayMoves discriminated against you or steered you, tell us at [LEGAL NOTICES MAILBOX] or through the contact page and begin your message with “Fair housing”. We review every report, remove content that breaks these rules and tell you what we did. You can also contact:
Where state or local law protects more than federal law, for example source of income or gender identity, the stronger rule applies. City pages list state and local protections only as published by the sources shown; absence from a list is not proof that no protection exists.
